Glen Rock Community School
Welcome to the Glen Rock Community School

The Glen Rock Community School is a community oriented organization sponsored and administered by the Glen Rock Board of Education. It offers educational, recreational and cultural activities for children, adults and senior citizens from Glen Rock and surrounding communities. Programs for children include Mom & Tot classes, Terrific for Tots Preschool, Kindergarten Plus Enrichment Program, School Age Child Care for students enrolled in the Glen Rock Public Schools, and a variety of summer camp experiences. Adult and senior courses focus on self improvement, business, technology, fitness and sports. In addition, the Glen Rock Community School sponsors trips to Broadway shows, day trips to points of interest in the tri-state area and extended trips across the United States and abroad.

In-person Kindergarten Registration begins Feb. 3
In-person Kindergarten registration will be held at the Glen Rock Public Library for all families whose last name begins with A-L on Tuesday, February 3 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Registration for families whose last name begins with M-Z will be held on Monday, Feb. 23 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Registration materials will also be available for the optional Kindergarten Plus program. Sparks After School Enrichment
The Glen Rock Community School is pleased to announce our winter/spring line-up of After School activities. Please click here for a brief overview of all we have to offer.

Girls Leadership Institute
NEW DATES: April 23, April 30, May 7 and May 14. The Glen Rock Community School is pleased to host a special workshop of the Girls Leadership Institute. For over 10 years, this non-profit organization has offered leadership development for girls through programs designed to assist them in becoming more emotionally intelligent, resilient and confident.

This workshop is limited in enrollment to 15 fourth or fifth grade girls and an adult partner.

Winter/Spring Catalog of Courses
The Glen Rock Community School's catalog of courses for Winter/Spring, 2015 is now available online. Copies will also be mailed to homes throughout Glen Rock and surrounding communities the week of Dec. 30. Registration is now open, and can be made online, via phone to 201-389-5011 or in our office at 600 Harristown Road, in the lobby of Glen Rock High School.

Enrollment Projection & Facility Utilization Study
At the public session on Dec. 15, Ross Haber of Ross Haber Associates presented an enrollment projection and facility utilization study to assist senior administration and the BOE in determining the feasibility of full-day kindergarten in the district.
